Strengths & Design Philosophy
Just like a Designer King Sejong.
Observation — Empathy
My strengths are observation and empathy. I'm really good at noticing things about people, often picking up on what they need before they even ask. I believe that good design should be like an excellent butler or a top-notch waiter — just like when you're about to get thirsty and the waiter has already filled your glass. This keen observation naturally ties into empathy. It’s about putting yourself in someone else’s shoes and following their thought process. When you do this, you start to understand what someone needs even before they do. And as you observe more people, you begin to see patterns in their behaviour, which makes it easier to identify what they require.
User centric — Accessibility
King Sejong created Hangul so that everyone, regardless of intelligence or age, could easily read and write. That’s the kind of design philosophy I aim to achieve in my work.
Building on my strength, I aspire to design accessible products, even for older people or those who are digitally excluded — products that are as intuitive as the Korean Hangul alphabet.
